True Grit Concrete Polishing evolved from our first business, Blue Collar Cleaning, LLC, which begain in 2012. Blue Collar Cleaning started with Nich purchasing a commercial carpet extractor and doing residential carpets. It grew to encompass multiple chain stores across Colorado and down into Farmington, NM. When many of those chain stores decided to change their flooring to polished concrete, Nick and Dani decided they also needed to evolve. In 2016 they purchased their first concrete grinder and attended a training in Knoxville, Tenn. They were both certified by the International Polished Concrete Institute and learned from one of the original people that revolutionized polished concrete and built some of the first concrete polishing machines as we know them today.
Their first concrete polishing job was a large warehouse and was probably one of the most challenging of any they've done. Currently, Nick and his crew have traveled as far North as Aspen, over to Las Animas and down to Farmington. they try to stick to that Hwy 160 corridor from Pueblo to Cortez and Telluride for most of their service areas.
Dani is also the Executive Director of the Colorado Ag Leadership Program and Nick was a basketball referee for over twenty years before taking the head coach position for the Dolores Bears boys basketball team, which keeps them busy when not chasing one of their six kids and two grandbabies around to their various sporting events and school activities. Nick also coaches youth football and loves to play basketball still. His true passion is helping youth in sports, which having his own business and a good crew allows him to do once in a while.
Nick and Dani look forward to helping you with your concrete polishng needs and questions.
